These are the invites for my BFF Christine's baby shower back in September. Baby number 5 is almost here (2 1/2 weeks). I used cuddle bug templates for the embossing and Stampin Up stamp for the wording.
Sorry it has been so long since I've been on. Summer break . I will be posting up coming events shortly. Kids are heading back to school tomorrow. I will be left with just my Melissa (she's 2) home:( So hopefully I will have more time to post. Here is a card I threw together for my monthly swap I host. Hope you enjoy it.
I used Under the Stars from SU, River Rock paper-SU, SU water color pencils, white and brown liquid applique. I love it. It's pretty self explanatory, but you do have to cut bears out to put arms around each other. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I am not patiently waiting for my new catalogs. I feel sorry for my UPS man. I am scoping for him all day long. My catalogs are supposed to be coming any day now. When I see him he will probably run the other way, cause the front door will be flying open with me and who knows how many kids and animals running behind me racing to get the box! Ugh! I can't take the pressure!! I need my catalogs....... New stamp stuff.......
I can't believe it is almost August. My summer is going by so fast. Cheer leading has already started, and a little over a month before school starts. We are getting schedules and learning who there teachers are. I will have three in school come September. Wow only one left with me at home:) Hopefully I will get to stamp more, but with this little one, I don't know about that. Love you Lissa.
I will hopefully be getting the new catalog soon. It has been shipped, but I am waiting!!!!!!! I was told all the stamp sets are die cut already. Just like the Spring mini ...all you had to do was punch out and stick on. no more cutting!! Yea!!!!
I will let you know as soon as I get my copy. Everyone can look.
Here are some pictures of my upcoming calander class. It is $15.00. Must be paid by July 31 so I can order. Each page has something pop dotted off or some kind of embelishment. You come and enjoy an afternoon of creating. Hope to hear from you. Check out my website for dates and time of class.
Sorry they are sideways-remember my camera died so I had to use my cell phone.
I am sorry to have been gone so long. I had VBS at my church all week and I had almost 100 kids everyday. Then I came home with any where between 2 and 5 extra kids a day. My husband had a softball game every night and I couldn't miss one because they were in the second round of the play offs.
Mybusy week is now over. We went food shopping for the first time this month....everyone is so happy. Mowed the lawn, cut bushes down at my father-n-laws (which I had to stop-they were in the evergreen family and I am allergic), took the kids for a walk, which we had to cut short due to a bear sighting. Yes, we have more bears in town than my sister-n-law in PA.
Now we are just relaxing. I will get back to stamping and will try to post new pictures, my camera also died this week.
Today's project is a simple book mark. I love book marks. It is a simple project that I can even get my 2 year old to make. On those long summer days when they complain, Mom, I have nothing to do, pull out your scrap papers, ribbon and let them go to town. They love to see them when they open their books everyday to read.
I made this bookmark for a craft (during our free time) at our Womans Advance for my church. You can visit the website http://www.cffchurch.org/ .
I used Embrace Life stamp set from Stampin Up
Hope you enjoy. Off to the lake to embrace life with the kids and friends.
I am so excited....I have my Stampin Up Website. I hope you all visit my site and my events calendar. I will keep you updated on my classes and events so mark my website in your favorites and check back daily.
Here is a double fold card...I got the idea from dawns stampin thoughts.
I am happily married, 13 years. My wonderful husband and I have four children ages, 11 (soon to be 12), 10, 5, and 2. I am a Domestic Goddess and use stamping and scrapbooking as my means of escape. I have been stamping/scrapbooking since 1996 and get alot of my ideas from splitcoast and other bloggers. I love the internet.

Do you have your wings?
Everyday in life you face challenges, happy moments, sad moments, joy, anger, surprise, sympathy, hurt, etc. Each trial or circumstance makes us who we are. A butterfly before it metamorfises is a catapiller. It turns into a cacoon. As it turns into a butterfly it has to break it's way free of the cacoon. If someone were to help it, it would not fly. The struggle and challenge it goes through to break out, give it the strength to fly. So I relate this to my life. The struggles, challenges, lifes, deaths, saddness, and joys I have gone through in life make me the person I am today. The only difference is we do not have to got through it alone. God, my husband, children, family, and wonderful friends are there every step of the way. I have my wings. Do you?
